Privacy Policy
Clear information about TopWebP, how the site works and how we handle privacy, content and communication.
Last updated: September 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TopWebP handles information when you access the website, use a tool, read the blog or send a message through the contact form. Our approach is intended to be clear and proportionate: collect only what is reasonably needed to operate, secure and improve the service, and avoid receiving user files when the requested processing can be performed directly in the browser.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the TopWebP domain and to the pages, tools and content offered through it. Third-party services integrated into the site, including advertising networks, analytics providers, image libraries, content delivery networks and hosting providers, may process information under their own policies. Where relevant, users should review the documents provided by those services.
2. Local file processing
TopWebP tools are designed to process images and documents directly in the browser whenever technically possible. Under this model, when you select an image or PDF, the file contents remain on your device during processing and are not uploaded to a TopWebP server to perform the conversion. This applies to functions such as cropping, resizing, compression, format conversion, watermarking, aspect-ratio processing, image-to-PDF creation and PDF-page-to-image conversion.
Some tools rely on JavaScript libraries loaded by the browser. Loading such a library may create a technical request to the server distributing the code, but this does not mean that the document selected by the user is sent to that server. If a future feature requires remote processing, that fact should be clearly disclosed within the tool before any file is uploaded.
3. Technical access data
As with virtually any website, hosting infrastructure and security services may automatically record technical information required for operation and protection. Logs may contain IP address, access date and time, requested URL, response code, browser, operating system, referrer and information related to suspicious or malicious requests.
Such information may be used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, performance analysis and maintenance. Retention periods depend on the configuration of the hosting provider, CDN, firewall and security services used by the site.
4. Contact form
When you use the contact page, we ask for a name, email address, subject and message. These details are used to receive, organize and respond to your request. The email address you provide may be used to reply to the communication or follow up on the matter you submitted.
The internal destination address that receives contact messages is not published on the website. We centralize communication through the form to reduce unnecessary exposure. Messages may be retained for the period reasonably required for support, record keeping, abuse prevention, legal compliance or the defense of rights.
5. Cookies and local storage
TopWebP may use strictly necessary cookies, local preferences and equivalent technologies to maintain functionality, remember settings or provide an appropriate experience. Advertising and analytics providers, when enabled, may also set their own cookies or use identifiers in accordance with their policies and applicable law.
More information is available in our Cookie Policy. Users can control cookies through browser settings, although blocking certain technologies may affect site features or advertising.
6. Advertising
TopWebP may display ads provided by third-party advertising networks. Depending on the provider, country, consent settings and campaign type, those networks may use cookies, device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, browser information and browsing events to measure performance, control frequency or personalize advertising.
TopWebP does not fully control the technologies used by each advertiser or network. When a provider requires consent mechanisms, the site may implement a compatible consent platform or notice.
7. Analytics and measurement
We may use analytics services to understand which pages are visited, which tools are used most, general traffic sources, performance and aggregated behavior. These insights help prioritize improvements and diagnose problems. Depending on configuration, such services may rely on cookies or other identifiers.
8. Pexels and editorial images
Our editorial system may query services such as Pexels to find images related to articles. This integration is used by the site administrator while preparing content and is not used to upload visitors’ personal files. Selected images may be downloaded, converted to WebP and stored in the site’s own media library as featured images.
9. Sharing of information
We do not sell files used in the tools. In locally processed tools, those files are not uploaded to TopWebP for processing in the first place. Technical information or contact-form data may be handled by providers necessary to run the service, such as hosting, CDN, security, email delivery, advertising and analytics providers, within the purpose of the relevant service.
We may also preserve or disclose information where required by a valid legal obligation or authority request, or where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or abuse, protect rights and safety, or respond to a dispute.
10. Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the site, including software updates, access controls, protection of administrative routes and HTTPS when correctly configured by the hosting environment. No internet-connected system can promise absolute security. Users should therefore avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through the contact form.
11. Children
TopWebP is not specifically directed to children and does not require an account to use public tools. If a parent or guardian believes that a child submitted personal information through the contact form without proper authorization, they can request review and, where appropriate, deletion through our contact page.
12. User rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, users may have rights relating to confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, information about sharing, objection or withdrawal of consent. Because many tools do not upload files to our servers and do not require an account, TopWebP will often have no way to identify content that a visitor processed locally.
For requests concerning contact-form data or other information that may be under our control, use the contact page and provide enough detail for us to identify the relevant communication.
13. International services
Providers used by the website may operate infrastructure in different countries. Certain technical information may therefore be processed outside the visitor’s country. Where applicable, such processing is subject to the safeguards adopted by the relevant providers and applicable legal requirements.
14. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in tools, providers, advertising practices, law or the operation of the website. The version published on this page replaces prior versions from the date shown at the beginning of the document.
15. Privacy contact
Questions or requests related to privacy should be submitted through the TopWebP contact page. Please provide only the information reasonably necessary to explain your request.
